The ZEISS Lab is a joint research initiative between the Medical University of Vienna and ZEISS. As an expansion of a successful, over 30-year-long collaboration, it was established in 2018. With a focus on ophthalmology and surgical microscopy, we’re investigating technologies that hold the potential to disrupt the way medicine is practiced. The proximity to world class clinical departments makes the transition from the bench to real world medical applications seamless. Through industry-academia research projects, we’re offering students insight into the complete innovation process and set them up for exciting careers in medical technology. If you would like to join our quest for revolutionary optical imaging methods, don’t hesitate to contact us.
